Mio Announces Corporate Website Re-launch
Redesigned website offers faster, targeted services

Mio, one of the world’s leading Portable Navigation Device (PND) makers, is pleased to announce the relaunch of its corporate website (www.mio.com). The redesigned website provides improved functionality and benefits to visitors, which include a simplified main menu with links to the most useful pages, enriched corporation and product content, and social networking services for users to interact with Mio directly.

The revamped site goes live today. The website has been redesigned for ease of use, once connected, visitors can see the most update news and find what they need in the very first page of the website, saving time clicking through pages and searching through a sea of information.  According to Mio’s internal survey, “Support”, “Product”, and “E-shop” are the three services that website visitors need most often; therefore, the services shown in the main menu will guide the visitors to their domestic website directly to get the most relevant information.

For visitors who are interested in Mio’s corporate information, they are now able to get the most up to date corporate messages directly online via the “About Mio” section, and find out the stories behind the brand. The “Press Room” section is also enriched with enhanced news release and awards & reviews archive, monthly member newsletters. Product pictures can be downloaded from the “Media Gallery”.

As the first company with successful social media networking in the industry, Mio also include all of the web tools that users need to reach and interact with them in each community services/ websites, such as the popular Twitter, Flickr, Digg and Mio branded blogs. Besides the social networking tools, users can also get the most up to date news via the RSS services provided by the Mio corporate website.

Realizing the importance of on-line marketing, Mio started to put more focus on it through a series of on-line campaign. Such as the launch of the Mio corporate blog at the end of last year, hosting virtual road shows in March, May and for Computex, renewing its member program by the launching of Mio Advantage service and also the launch of the Mio Travel Blog.
