  • Mio's New Brussels Building demonstrates a long term commitment to European Market

Located in Brussels, Belgium, the new building of the MiTAC International Group’s leading GPS brand “Mio” is to be formally opened on 22nd, May, 2008, demonstrating Mio’s commitment to European regional development.

With the completion of the new building now have three branch offices throughout Europe: London, ; Brussels in Belgium, and Warsaw in Poland . The new building is indicative of Mio Technology’s ambitions towards local development and symbolizes the completion of European strategic deployment.

For the official opening ceremony we have invited local senior figures to join MiTAC International Groups senior board members; Mitac/Synnex Chairman Mr. Matthew Miau, MiTAC International President Billy Ho, and Mio President Samuel Wang on the day.
 
Through the hiring of local branding, marketing, sales, product management and customer service personnel who will provide effective market information to the Headquarters (Taipei), Mio can efficiently respond to local market changes and provide the required level of after sales service.

The Mio brand under MiTAC International was established in 2002, and within one year of entering Western Europe won a large market share with the aid of creative product design and strong customer feedback.

According to the Canalys 2007 on-board mobile navigation (hardware) Q4 report, Mio is currently ranked No. 3 in the world with a worldwide market share of 11.3% and Western Europe market share of 10.8%.
