Mio to Unveil New Series of Navigation Devices with Digital TV
at Computex 2009
Mio, a leading worldwide supplier of Personal Navigation Devices (PND), will be showcasing its complete product line-up — including its newest PND series with built-in TV functionality and the newly-launched Mio Spirit navigation software, Moov S series of PNDs, and the highly anticipated Explora K75 GPS Phone — at Computex 2009, one of the largest international consumer electronics events. The Mio Technology booth at Nangang Exhibition Hall, Booth M112, will offer a quick glimpse into several innovative navigation products and the future of the Mio product line.
Introducing the Mio Moov V Series and Explora K75 GPS Phone
Mio will announce their new series of PND’s—the Moov V series that is integrated with digital TV functions - at Computex 2009, making the company the first major GPS player to launch a comprehensive line featuring digital TV capabilities. Also at the show is Mio’s first GPS phone to feature the Mio Spirit navigation software. Visitors will be able to experience the first true navigation GPS phone on the market, which boasts the seamless integration of smartphone and navigation functionality by a dedicated GPS maker.
First look at the ‘Litepad’ from Mio
Also on show are Mio’s new series of netbooks, the Litepad N890 and Litepad N1210 featuring 8.9” and 12.1” displays. Responding to the positive feedback of the Mobile Internet Device showcased at CES 2009, Mio are entering the netbook market by making GPS functionality its key differentiator. Mio are confident that the new series of netbooks will be a positive addition to their existing portfolio of navigation devices.
Comprehensive Mio S Series Portfolio
The Mio Moov S-series offers models with screen sizes of 3.5” to 7” integrating the breakthrough Mio Spirit navigation software. The easy-to-use intuitive user interface is expected to open up new market segments; the functions for exploring places and more useful features are especially highlighted for users who want not just an A-to-B navigation device, but a total solution for traveling and driving.
Mio will be demonstrating the latest range of products at COMPUTEX Taipei from 2nd to 6th June. Visit Mio at Booth M112, Upper level, Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Nangang Exhibition Hall or Mio Computex website: www.mio.com/promotions from June 1st to 17th.
